Fractional Brand & Business Advisor
Your brand, held together while others build it.
Most launches and rebrands hand work to several teams: an agency, an interior designer, a web studio, a printer. Each reads the brand differently, and the drift shows up months later, when it is expensive to fix. A fractional Brand Advisor is the one senior person who holds the line across all of them.
What the role covers
Briefing, sign-off and ownership, across whoever does the design. The role works alongside your agency, designers and vendors, and does not replace them.
- Written briefs for each vendor
- Sign-off against agreed brand principles
- Consistency across web, print, space, social and team
- Ownership of marketing decisions until you hire
- A one-page monthly brief: where the brand is slipping, what needs you, what is next
Who it suits
Founders and owners who already have, or are about to hire, an agency or a design team, and who want one accountable person between themselves and the work. Typical moments: a launch, a rebrand, a branch or office opening, or a business growing past the point where one person can hold every decision.
How it starts
A Brand Alignment Snapshot: one session with the people who touch the brand, plus a short review of what exists. You receive a one-page set of brand principles and a list of where things drift. That page is the benchmark every later sign-off is measured against. Nothing further is committed.
How it continues
Guardian
A light monthly rhythm for brands that are mostly set. One working session a month, written sign-offs and a quarterly review.
Brand Lead
For a launch or rebrand in motion. A weekly working session, written sign-offs, the monthly brief and a quarterly review.
Fees are shared after a first conversation.
When the project calls for more
The title flexes with the work. Depending on the project, the role widens to cover Chief Brand Officer responsibilities, such as brand strategy and guardianship at leadership level, or interim CMO-level responsibilities, such as marketing priorities, budget, vendors and calendar until a full-time hire is made. The scope is agreed before it starts.
